R. James Reynolds, Jr. is a Partner at Thomas, Long, Niesen & Kennard.
Jim has 35 years of experience in civil litigation and has represented clients before state and federal trial and appellate courts and administrative agencies. His principal practice areas include surety law, construction law, product liability defense, administrative law, insurance coverage and commercial/business litigation. Jim serves as head of the Civil Litigation and Surety Sections of the firm.
Prior to becoming a partner in the firm, Jim was a founding officer and shareholder of a respected Harrisburg litigation firm, where he practiced for 15 years. Before that, he was a partner in the Harrisburg office of a large Philadelphia-based law firm.
Jim is A-V rated by Martindale-Hubble. He is a member of the American Bar Association Fidelity and Surety Law Committee, Forum on the Construction Industry, Litigation Section, and Torts and Insurance Practice Section. He is also a member of the Dauphin County Bar Association Court Rules Committee.
