Patricia Armstrong to Speak at PREA Lawyer/Cooperative Chief Executives Conference

Patricia Armstrong, Managing Partner at Thomas, Thomas, Armstrong & Niesen, will speak at the 2006 Annual Pennsylvania Rural Electric Association (PREA) Lawyer/Cooperative Chief Executives Conference on Thursday, September 21, 2006, at The Penn Stater Conference Center Hotel in State College, Pennsylvania.
Ms. Armstrong will provide an overview of the law of easements and eminent domain in Pennsylvania and will discuss the recently amended Pennsylvania Eminent Domain Code and its requirements and procedures; the scope of rights-of-way under law when undefined; the effects of unrecorded easements; and abandoned easements.
