PUC Open House

November 7, 2007: 
   The Public Utility Commission is inviting all interested parties and stakeholders (utilities, consumer groups, other organizations and legislative staff that interact with the PUC) to a special PUC Open House, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., on Wednesday, November 7, 2007, in the Commonwealth Keystone Building, 400 North Street, Harrisburg.  Highlights of the open house include:  All PUC bureaus and offices open to visitors and for introductions; a reception and a special unveiling of a new PUC display with Commissioners in the atrium at 10:00 a.m.; PUC overview presentations; tours of Commission offices and bureaus; Q&A sessions with bureau directors and staff.  A full agenda is available by clicking here.   Additional information is also available at the PUC’s website.

 
Tribute to the Late Carroll F. (Dan) Purdy, Jr.

December 6, 2007:
    The Historical Society of Dauphin County will be holding its annual Deck the Halls gala on Thursday, December 6, 2007, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., at the John Harris-Simon Cameron Mansion.  The evening will be a tribute to the late Carroll F. (Dan) Purdy, Jr. (Of Counsel at Thomas, Thomas, Armstrong & Niesen), who will be recognized posthumously by the HSDC as the 2007 John Harris History Award Honoree.  Thomas, Thomas, Armstrong & Niesen will be serving as Lead Sponsor of the event, and Jennifer M. Sultzaberger and Charles E.
