PA PUC:  Commission Adopts Proposed Rulemaking Order Related to Universal Service and Energy Conservation Reporting Requirements and Customer Assistance Programs

On August 30, 2007, the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission (“Commission”) adopted a proposed rulemaking order that creates a unified process by which the level of funding for each natural gas distribution company and electric distribution company could be determined in conjunction with the Commission’s triennial review of the company’s universal service and energy conservation plan.
